The Port of Anchorage's (POA) last Master Planning effort was completed in 1999, more than 13 years ago.  The POA is currently soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional master planning services to update the POA's Master Plan.

The Master Plan will include identifying business requirements and opportunities in the Business Plan, optimal use of POA property in a Land Use Plan and a recommended phasing of infrastructure work in a Facilities Plan.  The result will be a comprehensive guide for development over the next 20 years.  This planning effort is expected to take 18 months and will include opportunities for the public and businesses stakeholders to engage and comment at key milestones.
